As a result of our exploration we have addressed many of physicians' questions and concerns. We developed and patented methods to hold the drug stable on the balloon surface and minimizing drug loss until inflation. In addition we have prevented drug to be on the outside balloon surface so the product is safer in use for operators. Combined with the multiple inflation possibility and a time related release optimized for normal inflation time, we anticipated that the drug eluting balloon development is reaching maturity.

We adapted our know-how of drug release kinetics and experiences from our DES programs running since 2000. We obtained independent scientific evidence that has proven a reproducible drug concentration on the balloon during inflation, independent of prior operator handling.

Blue Medical can deliver a totally new, safe and reliable drug eluting balloon technology. The technology is based on multiple independent scientific studies to provide the necessary comfort level of performance.
